Before you book
Should I book direct or on GetYourGuide?
Either works. Booking direct on WhatsApp gives you every class (silver, couple, kids, brass, 14K gold and the night class at 18:00 or 19:30) and you pay at the studio. GetYourGuide lists the single silver or brass class, with its own pay-later and refund terms. Prices are similar; check both on the day.
Are there extra costs at the studio?
Each class includes a set amount of metal (up to 6 g of silver in the silver class). A larger or thicker design can need more: extra silver is IDR 85,000 per gram and brass IDR 45,000 per gram. Gemstones and gold plating on silver are optional extras. Ask your silversmith before you start if you want to stay within the included metal.
What do guests say could be better?
Mostly the traffic: Canggu and Kerobokan roads can be slow, so book your Grab or Gojek early. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, the class may need to be moved to a later time.
