A silver workshop
with a turtle on it
Bali Turtle Jewelry Workshop is a small jewelry studio on Jl. Merta Agung in Kerobokan, a few minutes from Canggu. Since 2024 we have taught travellers, couples, and families to make their own silver, brass, and gold pieces, guided by Balinese silversmiths.
The turtle in our name is the motif you will see across the studio: sea turtles are part of Bali's coast and its stories, and turtle rings and pendants are the studio's signature design. You are just as welcome to make something plain, textured, or set with a stone.
See all six classes, look through the gallery of guest pieces, or check a date.
How a class works
You make it. We make sure it works.
Every class is led by a working Balinese silversmith. Their English may be limited, so two workshop leaders move around the studio to translate and answer questions. No experience is needed, and you do the real steps yourself.
Choose a design
Pick a ring, pendant, or pair of earrings and a style: plain, textured, turtle-inspired, or set with one of our gemstones.
Melt and shape
Your silversmith melts the metal with you, rolls it into wire or sheet, and shows you how to shape and size the piece.
Solder, sand, polish
You do the real steps, with the silversmith stepping in at the tricky moments so the joins are clean and the finish is right.
Take it home
Your finished piece leaves with you the same day. Most classes take one to two hours from start to polish.
The studio
Open-air benches in Kerobokan
An open, covered workshop with individual benches, torches, and polishing stations. Classes run every day with eight start times, so it fits around a surf, a beach afternoon, or dinner in Canggu.

Real technique
The same melting, soldering, and hand-finishing our silversmiths use for their own work, scaled to a single piece you can finish in a session.
Your piece, your design
Turtle, wave, plain band, or a stone you picked from the tray. We help you get it right; we don't make it for you.
Local hands
Our silversmiths are Balinese craftspeople, and booking a class supports their work directly.
Make something you'll actually wear
Classes run daily from 9am to 9pm. Pick a date, and we will confirm on WhatsApp.
